The Uzhhorod City District Court of Zakarpattia Region has imposed a preventive measure in the form of two months of detention without the possibility of making bail on Serhiy Batryn, a "Servant of the People" deputy from the Keretsky village council in Zakarpattia, who detonated three grenades during a village council meeting. This was reported by the court's press service on its Facebook page.

"On December 17, in accordance with the decision of the investigating judge of the Uzhhorod City District Court, a preventive measure in the form of detention without the possibility of bail was imposed on a 54-year-old citizen of Ukraine, a current deputy of the Keretsky village council of the Khust district of the Zakarpattia region of the VIII convocation, suspected of committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (terrorist act)," the statement reads.
