Starting from June 30, Ukrainian men abroad will be able to receive a passport only upon presentation of a military registration document

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the procedure for issuing passports to Ukrainian men abroad, which has been suspended since April 23. This is stated in Government Resolution No. 648, the Sudovo-yuridychna Gazeta (Judicial and Legal Newspaper) reports

Thus, starting June 30, men aged 18-60 will have to show a military registration document to receive a passport.

This procedure will be in effect until the law on the provision of administrative services to Ukrainian citizens abroad enters into force, but not more than 6 months from the date of entry into force of this resolution.

As a reminder, a military registration document means a certificate of registration with a military enlistment office (for conscripts) or a military ID card or a temporary certificate of a conscript (issued to conscripts).
