Two shipments of additional international security assistance from the USA arrived in Ukraine. Our country received ammunition, anti-tank and high-precision weapons and medical equipment, Obozrevatel reports.
In total, three shipments of aid from the USA government arrived in a month for a total of almost $60 million.
It should be noted that earlier cargoes of additional security assistance were delivered to Boryspil airport from the US. Medical equipment, ammunition, precision weapons and radar surveillance equipment were delivered.
Earlier, USA congressmen suggested that USA President Joe Biden's administration transfer or sell the Iron Dome missile defense system to Ukraine. Such a development has been in service with Israel for 15 years and helps the military to fight against militants from the Gaza Strip.
The Congress also proposed to increase the amount of military aid to Ukraine. In particular, the draft USA defense budget for 2022 envisages $300 million for Kiev.
