London can no longer supply weapons to Ukraine, but is ready to give money - The Telegraph

According to The Telegraph, a source in the UK Armed Forces Command said that the country can no longer provide Ukraine with weapons, but remains able to provide financial support.

"We have transferred almost everything we could afford. The Challenger 2 tanks we have left will be upgraded to Challenger 3. We need them for this purpose. The more tanks we give away, the fewer we have," the source said.

The source also pointed to the need to provide Ukraine with air defense systems and shells: "We will continue to look for weapons that can be transferred to Ukraine, but right now they need air defense systems and artillery shells, and we have run out of both."

A representative of the UK Armed Forces said that London remains committed to providing financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of £2.3 billion over the current year. However, he emphasized that these funds will not be used for "the transfer of British weapons." Instead, Britain will actively work to engage other countries to increase military and financial support for Ukraine.
