The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released updated figures on Russia’s combat losses in the war against Ukraine.
According to the Ukrainian military, Russia has lost an estimated 1,533,970 personnel killed or wounded since the start of the full-scale invasion, including 1,470 over the past 24 hours.
Ukraine estimates Russia’s total combat losses between February 25, 2022, and September 30, 2026, as follows:
* tanks -12,388 (+0);
* armoured combat vehicles -25,463 (+0);
* artillery systems -50,519 (+21);
* multiple-launch rocket systems -2,171 (+2);
* air defence systems -1,682 (+1);
* aircraft -443 (+0);
* helicopters - 356 (+0);
* ground-based robotic systems -2,789 (+9);
* operational-tactical UAVs -540,095 (+1,393);
* cruise missiles -5,121 (+3);
* ships and boats -35 (+0);
* submarines -2 (+0);
* vehicles and fuel tankers -155,363 (+332);
* special equipment -4,770 (+5).
The General Staff said the figures remain subject to further verification and updates.
