Russia has lost an estimated 1,544,260 troops in Ukraine since the start of the full-scale war, including 1,540 over the past 24 hours, according to updated figures released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russia has lost an estimated 1,544,260 troops in Ukraine since the start of the full-scale war, including 1,540 over the past 24 hours, according to updated figures released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ukraine’s military said Russia’s estimated total combat losses between February 25, 2022 and October 6, 2026 include 12,396 tanks (+3), 25,494 armoured combat vehicles (+7), 50,785 artillery systems (+52), and 2,184 multiple-launch rocket systems (+2).

Russia has also lost 1,688 air defence systems, 443 aircraft, 356 helicopters, 2,866 ground robotic systems (+7), 54,986 operational-tactical UAVs (+1,891), and 5,126 cruise missiles, according to the General Staff.

Other estimated losses include 35 ships and boats, two submarines, 158,551 vehicles and fuel tankers (+566), and 4,795 units of special equipment (+2).
