The State Bureau of Investigation, together with the Security Service of Ukraine, served a notice of suspicion to the commander of the Regional Administration of the Territorial Defense Forces "South". The SBI press service claims that he forced the military to build him a private house.
According to the investigation, the official involved three subordinates in the construction in 2023. During the year, the military received additional payments from their commander, allegedly for performing tasks on the front line.
The man was notified of suspicion of abuse of power, which caused significant damage under martial law. If his guilt is proven in court, he faces up to 12 years in prison.
