Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has announced the possibility of peace talks with Ukraine, but with the support of “real conditions”.
In his speech at consultations in the Federation Council, he noted that Russia had previously been ready to offer favorable conditions for Ukraine, but the situation had changed.
Lavrov also noted that Switzerland is no longer an acceptable place for negotiations, as it has lost its neutrality.
He emphasized that the readiness for negotiations is confirmed personally by the President and is based on real conditions, including changes to the Russian constitution.
Lavrov also expressed disappointment in the Ukrainian authorities for refusing to consider other peace proposals besides the Zelensky Formula.
At the same time, he noted that Russia is ready for hostilities if the West decides to conduct them as part of the situation around Ukraine.
