Zelensky reveals details of the Global Peace Summit: who is invited and what will be discussed

The upcoming Global Peace Summit, which will take place on June 15-16 in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, has already become an object of interest for heads of state and government from different continents. This was reported on the Twitter account of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

 

 

Zelensky said that the summit will be a platform for discussing ways to achieve a comprehensive, just and lasting peace for Ukraine in accordance with the UN Charter and norms of international law. The countries that received the invitation have already demonstrated their commitment to these principles.


According to Zelensky, the summit will discuss issues such as the global role of countries and respect for international law and peaceful coexistence in the world.


The President also emphasized that these common rules protect all countries from attack and violence, and must be defended with real actions, not just words.
