At the Peace Summit in Switzerland, participants will discuss key aspects related to the conflict in Ukraine.
Speaking at a joint press conference with European Parliament President Roberta Metsola in Kyiv, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the need to resolve the issue of the release of prisoners in the “all for all” format, including both military personnel and civilian Ukrainians illegally detained by Russia. The parties will also discuss nuclear and food security.
According to Zelensky, the first steps towards the exchange of prisoners and the return of children and deported citizens can be taken at the summit.
He also noted that the Peace Summit would be attended only by those countries that seek peace, and called for Russian President Vladimir Putin to be put in his place, who, according to Zelensky, continues to pursue an aggressive policy in Ukraine.
The president also emphasized that peace cannot be achieved only on the battlefield, as Russia, as a large country, will continue to influence its citizens, regardless of their wishes.
