The procedure for reserving conscripts has been changed: now the lists will be approved by the Ministry of Defense

The Cabinet of Ministers has changed the procedure for reserving conscripts during martial law, provided for by Resolution No. 76. The Ministry of Defense will now approve the lists of reservists instead of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to the amendments approved by the government on May 8.

The decision stipulates that central executive authorities, having received lists of reserved persons from companies, will submit them to the Ministry of Defense for approval after checking the completeness of the list, the availability of justification and compliance with the quantity requirements.

There are no other significant changes yet.

As before, reservations are made by decision of the Ministry of Economy.
