The Verkhovna Rada has adopted a resolution that obliges the government to allocate funds to pay 70,000 hryvnias per month to the military performing combat missions on the first line of defense. The resolution also obliges the government to develop draft laws to improve the mechanisms of military rotation.
"The Verkhovna Rada voted in favor of a resolution for the government to add 70,000 hryvnias per month to those who are directly fighting at zero. That is, in addition to their salaries (20-25 thousand) and combat pay (100 thousand), the defenders should receive 70 thousand more. Finally, we have pressed for it. This is primarily about motivation and justice for those who hold the front on their shoulders," said MP Oleksiy Honcharenko.
It should be reminded that the provision on additional payment of 70,000 was in the government's mobilization bill, but it was removed for the second reading.
