Zelensky met with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in Davos

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak met with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Biden's assistant Jake Sullivan in Davos. The video is published by the Presidential Office.


"A meaningful meeting with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. We discussed further defense cooperation between Ukraine and the United States. Air defense and long-range capabilities are especially important for our country," the president wrote.


According to media reports, Blinken promised that Washington would continue to support Kyiv.

"We are determined to maintain our support for Ukraine, and we are working closely with Congress (to agree on a new aid package for Kyiv)," Blinken said.

The secretary of state added that European countries follow the same approach.


"I know our European colleagues will do the same," he said.
