The delivery of Western aid to Ukraine, despite the efforts of Kyiv's allies, is "behind schedule." This was stated by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in an interview with Foreign Policy.

“There is a temporary gap between the announcement of the package and the moment when the Ukrainian artillery will have more shells to shoot back at the Russian occupiers. And this moment has not yet come, because everything that has been announced - we are grateful and appreciate it - is still on the way. And during this time period, terrible things can happen, such as an offensive by Russian troops on the ground,” Kuleba said.

According to him, Ukrainian soldiers are "starving" due to the lack of artillery shells, and their positions are being destroyed, so in a war, not only the quantity and quality of the supplies are important, but also the timing.

“When I look at what Russia has achieved in restoring its military-industrial base and what the West has achieved so far... We have to face the truth and admit that Russia is more effective in its military efforts. And this raises a more fundamental question for the West. If it cannot be effective enough in this particular military operation, how effective can it be if wars and crises of the same scale break out?” - the minister added.
