President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has awarded military ranks to three officers, including Major General Serhiy Deyneko, who heads the State Border Guard Service.

According to the relevant decrees, Major General Deyneko was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General.

Also on the list of promotions is Vitaliy Chaplya, Deputy Head of the Operational and Military Department of the Eastern Regional Directorate of the SBGS, who was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General, as well as Andriy Vikhtyuk, Director of the Department of Work Organization, Planning and Control of the SBGS Administration.
