Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov is to be dismissed, and current Defense Minister Rustem Umerov is to be appointed in his place. Censor.NET editor-in-chief Yuriy Butusov said this, citing his sources.
According to his information, Kubrakov is to be dismissed at the suggestion of the head of the OP Andriy Yermak.
“It is planned to appoint the current Defense Minister Rustem Umerov in his place. The reason for the resignation is the gradual cleansing by the head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, of all the leaders who have the right to enter Zelensky's office on their own, directly without Yermak's approval,” the statement reads.
According to the journalist, Kubrakov, after Reznikov's dismissal, applied for the post of defense minister.
“Kubrakov applied for this position, but Yermak believes that the control of the Minister of Defense and the Minister of Foreign Affairs is his exclusive sphere of influence, and only those people whom he controls should be appointed there,” Butusov wrote.
He noted that a “media soldier” is likely to be appointed to the post of Defense Minister.
“Simultaneously with the campaign to remove Kubrakov, Yermak is trying to discredit Deputy Prime Minister M. Fedorov and SBU head V. Malyuk in the eyes of the president,” the editor-in-chief added.
