341 children have already become victims of the Russian invasion of Ukraine

As a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, 341 children died, according to the Office of the Prosecutor General.

 

"As of the morning of June 28, 2022, more than 963 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. According to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 341 children were killed and more than 622 injured," the report said.

 

The most affected children, as noted, in the Donetsk region - 336, Kharkiv - 183, Kyiv - 116, Chernihiv - 68, Lugansk - 57, Kherson - 52, Mykolaiv - 48, Zaporozhzhia - 31, Sumy - 17.

 

These figures are not final, as work is underway to establish them in places of active combat operations, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

 

Thus, on the night of June 28, a 6-year-old girl was fatally wounded by the occupants of the town of Ochakov in the Mykolayiv region.

 

On June 27, a 14-year-old boy died as a result of an enemy air strike on the town of Lisichansk.

 

On June 27, the military of the aggressor country shelled the Nemyshlyansk district of the city of Kharkiv. Five boys aged 8 to 12 were wounded.

 

On June 26, a 9-year-old boy was wounded during shelling by Russian troops in the village of Malynivka, Pokrovsky district, Donetsk region.

 

Because of the bombardment and shelling by the Russian armed forces, 2,061 educational institutions were reportedly damaged. Of these, 213 were completely destroyed.
