There will be no deprivation of citizenship for leaving Ukraine

People's deputies withdraw their signatures under the bill 7381. It provides for the deprivation of Ukrainian citizenship of persons liable for military service, who left the country and did not return within a month. Thus, the Verkhovna Rada will not consider this bill.

About this reported in Telegram representative of the Verkhovna Rada in the Constitutional Court Olga Sovgirya.

"The bill 7381 on deprivation of citizenship for non-return from abroad, registered in Parliament the other day, will not be considered. Colleagues withdraw their signatures on the bill. Why the bill can not be passed, my colleagues explained. The balance between the public inquiry and the Constitution has been restored", she said.

Earlier, it was proposed in the Rada to deprive of citizenship those who left the country during martial law and did not return within 30 days.

In addition, it was proposed to deprive citizenship for a written refusal from mobilization.
