In his statement during a joint press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky noted that the issue of mobilization is important for Ukrainian society.
He called on citizens to join the defense of the state, explaining that it is necessary to defend Ukraine if we want to preserve our country.
Zelensky also expressed confidence in the support of partners and expressed readiness to receive the necessary weapons to repel Russian attacks.
"As for mobilization, mobilization is going on in our country because of the martial law. It has been going on since the first day. I see that this issue exists in society, it's not the first day of war. But if we want to preserve our state, we need to defend it,” the president said.
