French President Emmanuel Macron rejects the possibility of his early resignation from the presidency if the National Rally party wins the elections. According to French media, he expressed this position in an interview with Figaro Magazine.


Macron was asked if he would consider resigning in the event of a successful victory of the right-wing populist National Rally in the early elections, if the winners put forward such demands.


In response, Macron rejected the idea of resigning, regardless of the election results.


He noted that it is not the National Rally that establishes the constitution, and no demands from the winners have any influence on his decision to remain president.
