During the conversation, the President thanked Macron for launching the "Artillery Coalition" initiative, including the announcement of France's production of advanced Caesar artillery systems and relevant ammunition for Ukraine.
They also discussed the situation on the battlefield, Ukraine's defense needs, and prospects for future military assistance from Paris. Zelensky emphasized the importance of further strengthening Ukraine's air defense.
The President also expressed gratitude to French businesses for their active support and willingness to invest in Ukraine, even in the face of the conflict.
Zelensky informed Macron about the start of preparations for the Global Peace Summit and emphasized the importance of involving as many countries as possible in the event.
The presidents also instructed their advisers to start preparations for the French president's upcoming visit to Ukraine and to speed up negotiations on a bilateral agreement on security guarantees, taking into account the G7 Vilnius Declaration.
