Ukraine is not losing the war against Russia, but it favors its quick conclusion, as this conflict claims the most precious thing – human lives, – the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, stated at a press conference following the meeting of Ukrainian, European, and American delegations in Oslo.
Journalists asked Zelenskyy about concessions and whether he is currently losing the war against Russia.
The President replied that discussions focused on "delicate" issues, but he wants to "make efforts to end this war as quickly as possible" and focus future negotiations on reconstruction.
Zelenskyy insists that "Ukraine is not losing the war."
"But we are losing people and time, because our children do not have a real life, a childhood. That is exactly why we must end this war as quickly as possible," Zelenskyy stated.
