The Speaker of the Latvian Parliament Daiga Mieriņa arrived on a visit to Ukraine on Tuesday, January 16. This was reported on Facebook by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
"I am glad to meet and welcome the Speaker of the Saeima of Latvia Daiga Mieriņa on her first official visit to Ukraine! This visit will further strengthen the friendly alliance between our countries and parliaments," said Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Olena Kondratiuk.
