Verkhovna Rada does not plan to lower the mobilization age - Stefanchuk

The Verkhovna Rada does not plan to lower the mobilization age, no such initiative has been registered in the parliament. This was announced at a briefing by the Speaker of the Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk.

“As of this moment, no official statements, messages, appeals, or proposals have been received by the Ukrainian parliament within the framework of the legislative initiative,” the speaker said.

Stefanchuk added that he realizes that the war is “a terrible mathematics of time, weapons, finances and human resources.” The Speaker of the Parliament reminded that the Verkhovna Rada had approved legislative acts to make the mobilization fair and to stop people from being “grabbed on the street.”
