Poland increases combat readiness of air defense due to incident with an object that flew in from Ukraine

Poland's air defense forces have been put on high alert after an incident with an unknown object that flew in from Ukraine, and the search for the object is underway. This is reported by Polsat News with reference to the spokesman for the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces, Jacek Goryszewski.


"In order to ensure the safety of our airspace ... the combat readiness of our air defense assets, as well as regular pairs of fighters, has been increased," the publication said.


The command spokesperson noted that the search for the object continues. Work is also underway to establish the causes of the airspace violation and determine the trajectory of the object.


"It is known that the airspace of Poland was violated in the morning. The operational command has followed all the procedures, and all persons who should be informed are aware of this fact," added Goryszewski.


Earlier we reported that on Friday morning, December 29, an unidentified flying object entered the airspace of Poland from Ukraine, the Operational Command of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland said.
