A powerful explosion occurred at the Mesko plant in Poland, as a result of which one worker died and another person was hospitalized. This information was provided by Onet.


Police officers under the supervision of the prosecutor are currently working at the scene to determine the circumstances of the explosion.


The plant's general director, Elżbieta Śreniawska, confirmed the information about the explosion, saying that it occurred at the rocket fuel warehouse. This center was put into operation several years ago.


A 59-year-old employee of the plant died as a result of the incident, and another person was hospitalized.


The fire has already been extinguished and the situation is under control, said Jarosław Gwóźdź, a spokesman for the district police department.
