In Kyiv, law enforcement officers detained a man who climbed on the hood of a police car during the curfew and hit one of the police officers. He faces up to 5 years in prison. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office on Telegram.
The incident occurred around 5 a.m. when a 40-year-old man tried to enter one of the hotels in the Podil district. Due to his aggressive behavior, the hotel staff called the police using the panic button.
According to the prosecutor's office, when the police arrived, the man continued to behave aggressively, waving his arms and using obscene language. Then he climbed on the hood of the police car, damaging it, and hit the policeman in the face, causing him to fall.
According to the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, the sanction of the article provides for up to 5 years in prison.
