Poland reacts to the threat of sabotage: improving the security of the transit hub for military aid to Ukraine

Poland is strengthening security measures around the main transit hub for foreign military aid to Ukraine due to concerns about possible sabotage attacks. This was reported by Interior Minister Tomasz Siemoniak in an interview with Bloomberg.

He confirmed that security measures have been taken around Rzeszow-Jasionka airport, which handles a significant portion of Western military equipment sent to the front line.

Siemoniak also noted that the airport has become a main stopping point for foreign officials visiting Kyiv.

According to the minister, Poland is facing an unprecedented level of foreign interference, including arson incidents and physical attacks, which he said is the result of alleged sabotage by Russia.
