The Russian military attacked Odesa region with kamikaze drones twice on the night of August 16. It is known that one of the ports was attacked by the enemy. This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, on his Telegram channel.


According to him, the main target of the enemy was port and grain structures in the south of the region.


The attack resulted in a hit to one of the Danube ports. Several warehouses and granaries were damaged. Rescuers from the State Emergency Service quickly extinguished the fires caused by the shelling.


Fortunately, no one was injured during the enemy attack.


"I am grateful to everyone who went down to the shelters and stayed in safe places last night, heeding the warnings of danger. As you can see, this is very important because, fortunately, there were no deaths or injuries," Kiper said.
