The government has set priorities: which facilities will receive priority power supply

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided on the facilities that will have immediate access to electricity, according to a resolution dated May 24, 2024.


The facilities that will be granted priority access to electricity include:

  • critical infrastructure facilities, the fuel and energy sector and life support systems;
  • healthcare facilities;
  • military units;
  • territorial centers of recruitment and social support;
  • defense industry enterprises;
  • railroad transport enterprises;
  • enterprises important for ensuring food, economic or energy security of the country;
  • enterprises with a continuous production cycle;
  • electronic communication networks;
  • Verkhovna Rada;
  • the Cabinet of Ministers;
  • central executive authorities;law enforcement agencies (internal affairs, prosecutor's offices, the Security Service, and facilities of the State Emergency Service).


The list of objects of special importance is confirmed by the regional administration or the military administration of the city, prior consultations are held with local governments and distribution network operators.
