China plans to support an international conference recognized by both Ukraine and Russia with “equal participation of all parties”. This was reported by Mao Ning, spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during a press conference.


Ning emphasized that China has always maintained a “fair and objective position” on the conflict in Ukraine and has worked to promote peace talks.


In addition, she noted that Beijing supports a peaceful solution to the “crisis” and favors an international peace conference with equal participation of all parties, including Ukraine and Russia.


Regarding China's possible participation in the Global Peace Summit, Ning said that there is no proper comment on this issue at this time.
