On Wednesday, British Defense Secretary Grant Shapps said that there is evidence that China is providing or preparing to provide Russia with lethal weapons for use in the war against Ukraine. This is reported by Reuters.


He said that American and British military intelligence confirms this data, indicating that such aid is “already coming or will come” from China to Russia, and then to the battlefield in Ukraine.


Shapps considers this a significant development and calls for concern about such cooperation, especially given China's desire to maintain influence over Russian President Vladimir Putin.


He also emphasizes the cooperation between Russia and China in developing military equipment for use in Ukraine.
