The “head of the LPR” Leonid Pasichnyk said that at least six missiles were fired at Luhansk.

At the same time, local residents reported on social media that debris fell near the bus station and the College of Information Technology. They are located near the former Luhansk Higher Military Aviation School of Navigators.

“Two schools, three kindergartens, the Luhansk College of Information Technology and Entrepreneurship, and one of the buildings of the Dalovsk University were damaged in the shelling of Luhansk,” the statement said.

In addition, local public media reports that the entrance of a five-story building collapsed upon hit in Luhansk.

Later, Ukrainian authorities confirmed the strikes on Luhansk and said that military and industrial facilities were hit.

Luhansk Governor Artem Lysogor wrote that the hits were in the area of Hostra Mohyla, near the barracks of the former Luhansk Higher Military School of Navigators, where, according to him, the Russian military is located, as well as an airfield and an aircraft repair plant.

He also claimed that the oil depot had been hit.
