After the incident with the Ukrainian ships: Russia sent submarines to patrol the Black Sea

Russia has launched a massive submarine patrol of the Black Sea after an attack on Ukrainian defense ships. Dmytro Pletenchuk, head of the Center for Strategic Communications of the Defense Forces of the South, said this during a telethon.

According to him, four submarines are already in the Azov-Black Sea region, three of which are equipped with cruise missiles. Two submarines periodically go to sea, replacing each other.

Pletenchuk also said that Russia is trying to ensure the safety of its ships in the Sea of Azov from Ukrainian drones by building structures in the form of barges and background barriers.

He also noted that Russian warships are mixing with civilian vessels in the Sea of Azov, making Ukraine's work more difficult.

However, he did not confirm the information about the defeat of a large Russian landing ship.

Earlier, we reported that an incident involving an attack on one of the ships of the Russian fleet may have occurred in the Sea of Azov. The Russians moved more than 10 vessels from Novorossiysk closer to the port of Yeysk during the so-called “exercises”.
