The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated an additional UAH 3.88 billion for the further construction of defense borders in several regions. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
According to him, UAH 1.7 billion of these funds will be allocated for Kharkiv region and UAH 1.5 billion for fortifications in Sumy region. Donetsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions will also receive additional resources.
"In total, since the beginning of the year, the government has already allocated almost UAH 30 billion for the construction and arrangement of fortifications," added Shmyhal.
In turn, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky showed footage of the construction of fortifications today. It is reported that such structures are being built in Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
