Power outage schedules are valid only in Kharkiv region - Ukrenergo

Currently, the power outage schedules are in effect only in Kharkiv region. However, as consumption grows, restrictions may be imposed in Odesa and Khmelnytskyi regions. No outages are expected in Kryvyi Rih. This was reported by the press service of Ukrenergo.

In general, there is no electricity shortage in the power system. A power unit at one of the thermal power plants has been repaired and the windy and sunny weather favors the operation of renewable energy sources, the company said.

"In the morning and later during the day, electricity is imported from Romania, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, and Moldova in the total amount of 13,087 MWh," the statement said.

Strong winds left 19 settlements in Khmelnytskyi region and five in Kyiv region without electricity. For other reasons, 389 settlements were cut off.
