Duda confirms discussion on sending NATO soldiers to Ukraine

Polish President Andrzej Duda has confirmed that at the meeting in Paris they discussed sending NATO soldiers to Ukraine, the Polish portal Dorzeczy reports.

He stated that the discussion on this issue was "the sharpest" and "there was no absolute agreement."

"Opinions differ, there are absolutely no such decisions," the Polish president said.

At the same time, Deputy Defense Minister Cezary Tomczyk said that Warsaw is not going to send its soldiers to Ukraine in any case.

"There is no such project or idea in Poland," Tomczyk said on the air of the Polsat TV channel.

As we reported earlier, Emmanuel Macron did not rule out sending Western troops to Ukraine, but noted that there is no consensus among the allies so far.
