House of arrested businessman Ihor Mazepa burned down in Chernihiv region

Last night, the house of businessman Ihor Mazepa, who was detained on suspicion of organizing a scheme to illegally seize land on which the hydraulic structures of the critical infrastructure, the Kyiv Hydroelectric Power Plant, are located, burned down in Chernihiv region, LB.ua reports, citing sources.


"On the night of January 22, the country house of Ihor Mazepa, who was detained on suspicion of fraud with the lands of the Kyiv HPP, burned down. It happened in the village of Kartovetske, Chernihiv region," the article says.


The probable cause of the fire is a violation of the rules for the installation of heating furnaces and chimneys. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties.
