The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, intends to call the leaders of Ukraine and the Russian Federation, Volodymyr Zelenskiy and Vladimir Putin, again in the coming days. The parties can discuss the topic of the negotiation process.

 In his comments to journalists, Erdogan said that Turkey does not lose hope for a dialogue between the leaders of the Russian Federation and Ukraine. In his opinion, there will be no side that lost from peace.

 In addition, the Turkish leader said that during the last conversation with Putin, he got the impression that the Russian president's position on the dialogue with Ukraine had softened.

 "In the coming days, based on the results of the telephone conversations (with Putin and Zelenskiy - ed.), we will understand how far we can advance. The day before, I spoke with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy. I felt in his speech the absence of obstacles and readiness to solve this issue. We are not losing hope for peace," Erdogan said.
