Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced that Ankara is actively engaging with various parties on the issue of renewing the Black Sea Grain Agreement. However, as he emphasized, the future of this initiative is closely linked to the fulfillment of obligations by Western countries. This was reported by the Anadolu news agency.
The Turkish President noted that the realization of this task directly depends on how effectively Western countries fulfill their promises, although he did not specify which obligations he was referring to.
Erdogan also emphasized that Russian President Vladimir Putin shows great interest in the issue of ensuring access to grain for African countries. He expressed confidence that it is possible to reach an agreement on this topic based on the last conversation with the Russian leader.
