In Estonia, the Harju court sentenced a 26-year-old man who desecrated the national flag of Ukraine in Tallinn to conditional imprisonment.

This is reported by the ERR portal.

According to the version of the Pyhia district prosecutor's office, on August 8, at approximately 11:20 p.m., the accused, while standing next to Burger King near Baltiysky station, threw the flag of Ukraine to the ground and then set it on fire with a lighter.

It took almost a month for the police to find and detain the man. He did not object, and the materials of the criminal case were quickly handed over to the court. For desecrating the flag of a foreign country, the man was sentenced to 3 months and 10 days of conditional imprisonment.

The convict must also pay a total of 490.50 euros as procedural costs.

We will remind, in Estonia, the Harju court found three men guilty of supporting Russia's aggression against Ukraine - they were engaged in the purchase of drones for the Russian army.
