The monthly volume of gas transit through the Ukrainian GTS has fallen since 1991. In June, they amounted to 1.25bn cu.m. The statement was made by the Ukrainian GTS operator.
"Gazprom" used only 38% of the reserved capacity (3.29 billion cubic meters) under a long-term contract.
"As a result of Gazprom's manipulative actions, gas prices in Europe have increased by almost 42% since the beginning of June. The Kremlin uses aggression not only in the military dimension: attempts to disrupt the heating season in Europe is an example of a real hybrid war," the report says.
According to the "Operator of GTS of Ukraine", "Gazprom" does not use the reserved and paid capacity at the entry point "Sudja", which amounts to 77.2 million cubic meters per day in the future. Also, the Russian monopolist did not use the opportunity to transfer the capacity of GIS Sohranovka and does not participate in auctions to reserve capacity.
"Together with the restriction of transit through the Nord Stream 1 pipeline, this leads to" drying up" the EU gas market and increasing prices," the press service said.
