Ukraine, Russia and Turkey have developed a preliminary plan for the export of grain from the port of Odesa. In particular, Turkey will be involved in de-mining coastal waters near Odesa, while Russian ships will escort the cargoes to the Bosporus.
This is reported by the Russian publication Izvestia.
"The scheme will be as follows: the Turkish military will deal with the demining of the coastal zone in the area of Odesa. The ships will leave the port under escort of Turkish ships in the neutral waters of the Black Sea, to a set coordinate. Further to the Bosporus they will be escorted by Russian warships...," the weekly wrote with reference to the data of an anonymous source.
According to the source, such a road map has already been agreed upon with Turkey and Ukraine, allegedly "the only thing left is to detail the exact route of the ships".
At the same time, the publication does not rule out that this scheme may be approved as early as June 8-9.
