SBU summons Avakov, Turchinov and Yatsenyuk over "coal case"

The Security Service of Ukraine has summoned former officials Arsen Avakov, Oleksandr Turchynov and Arseniy Yatsenyuk. The respective summonses were published on the Security Service of Ukraine website.

All three are summoned "to participate in the investigative/procedural actions" as witnesses in case #22016130000000212 on May 19, however, for different times. Earlier, the lawyer of the fifth President of Ukraine, now an MP Petro Poroshenko Ihor Golovan indicated that it is about the so-called "coal case".

Poroshenko, as well as detained MP Viktor Medvedchuk, are involved in the "coal case".

The other day Medvedchuk testified against Poroshenko in this case.

The SSU pointed out that the data provided by Medvedchuk on the "coal" and "pipe" cases confirmed the SBU's evidence and Poroshenko's role.
