The deputy head of the Office of the President Rostislav Shurma urged citizens to pay for purchases with payment cards because of difficulties with the delivery of cash.
"Dear Ukrainians! Pay with bank cards where possible, not cash! Today it is difficult to carry cash around the country. The banking system of Ukraine works, and it will continue to do so. Reduce risks for yourself, stores and collectors. Contribute to victory. Pay with your card. Everything will be Ukraine!" - wrote Shurma on his Facebook page.
However, in the comments to this post people reported that many stores do not accept cards. To which the deputy head of the OP replied that within one or two days, all grocery and drugstore chains will accept cards.
"Now there is an active work with them. Moreover, will issue cash against the cards," - wrote Shurma.
