The Office of the President expects a visit of German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Chancellor Olaf Scholz to Kyiv. This was stated by the deputy head of the Office of the President Andriy Sibiga in a video message released by the press service of the OP.

He noted the strengthening of the dynamics of relations with Germany.

"The president had a telephone conversation with President Steinmeier. After that, the president of Ukraine received the president of the Bundestag in Kyiv, received the foreign minister, and also had a conversation with Federal Chancellor Scholz yesterday," Sibiga said.He added that this is "extremely important" because the countries "have a clear understanding of common interests."

"There are common assessments of the challenges that both Europe and Ukraine face today. We clearly understand the algorithm of interaction and we expect further visits of German leaders, both the president and the chancellor to Kyiv," he said.
