Problems at ZNPP: The power line has been disconnected again

The temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant was again left without one of the power lines that provides energy for its operation. This was reported by NNEGC Energoatom in Telegram.

The message states that today, May 23, 2024, at 13:31, the external overhead line PL-750 kV Dniprovska, which connects ZNPP to the United Energy System of Ukraine, was disconnected.

Currently, the nuclear power plant is connected to the Ukrainian power grid by only one transmission line, PL-330 kV Zaporizhzhia TPP-Ferosplavna.

It is noted that in case of failure of this line, a complete blackout may occur at ZNPP, which is a serious violation of the conditions for safe operation of the plant and a threat to its uninterrupted operation.
