The Ukrainian Centre of National Resistance reported that Russian troops are using the seized Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant as a military base for Chechen militants.


Currently, the Chechen units of the Russian Guard "Akhmat" (OMON and SOBR) are located at the facility, which have set up a base at the plant.


The CNR report states that the militants are involved in patrolling the city and in repressions against Ukrainians, although the Russians are trying to justify their presence at the facility as security.


It is also reported that Chechens have set up a shooting range in one of the station's premises.
