Zelensky extends mobilization and martial law until August 2024

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has signed laws that provide for the extension of general mobilization and martial law in the country until August 11, 2024. This is reported on the website of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.


The President signed Law No. 11234, which extends martial law, and Law No. 11235, which extends the period of general mobilization.


Mobilization and martial law will be in effect for another 90 days, until August 11, 2024.


This is the 11th time that mobilization and martial law have been extended since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
