On April 4, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a regular meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff. They discussed, among other things, the situation at the front, the purchase of electronic warfare equipment and drones, and countering Russian air strikes. This was reported on the President's Telegram channel.
"Stavka. The main issues are the front, drones, electronic warfare and air defense," the president wrote.
Zelensky noted that a report by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi, on the situation on the main directions was heard at the meeting.
"The results of stabilization actions, which helped to stop the advance of the Russian occupiers. Intelligence data on the enemy's further plans and our actions in response," the Head of State said.
The meeting also heard reports from Defense Minister Rustem Umerov on the implementation of contracts for the purchase of drones and electronic warfare systems. They also discussed the preparation of new agreements.
"I instructed to provide similar reports on the missile program," Zelensky said.
At the meeting today, Chief of the General Staff Anatoliy Bargylevych also reported on the fight against the instruments of Russian air terror.
"The results of using electronic warfare, mobile fire groups and air defense. A number of instructions for furtherimprove of our tactics," the President added.
